Within the Squisito! initiative, First Congress on Italian Cuisine in Latin America, we had the pleasure of holding the qualifying round for the Pasta World Championship 2014. It was on August 31st in Buenos Aires, at the IAG (Argentinean School of Gastronomy). Among the participants were some well known Italian Cuisine Chefs of that city. The winner was Gustavo Fonso Carrillo, a professor of the IAG with a very italian dish: Conchiglioni, eggplants, bell pepper sauce and Parmiggiano Reggiano whey.

The jury was conformed by 4 Italians: Simone Fracassi (Tuscan master butcher), Francesco Lapenna (Italian cuisine connoisseur), Pasqualino Barbasso (pizzaiolo acrobatico) and Rosario Scarpato (director of the PWC).
